The attendance problem of NFL for this year have been well-documented. But then, for one single club – the attendance issue has resulted in the resort of certain extreme decisions.
The attendance issue for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has become a big problem that resulted in free give away of tickets. The fans received a surprise and a rare treat on Sunday during a match. Buccaneers gave 2 complimentary tickets for the season ticket holders for the Sunday game that was played against the Carolina Panthers team.
This initiative happened as the team suffered the worst attendance in the last 8 years. In a match where the team won against San Francisco on November 25, the attendance was low – where only 40,682 people were present. But the actual capacity of the Raymond James stadium was 65,000 for football.
Further to the Carolina contest, Buccaneers have 2 more home games against New Orleans Saints & Atlanta Falcons respectively.
