Boruto Chapter 80: A Quick Recap
The last chapter of Boruto ended with Sasuke rescuing Boruto and fleeing the village. Kawaki managed to convince Eiida to change history through her Omnipotence ninjutsu.
Kawaki’s desire to save Naruto grew stronger, forcing him to assassinate every Otsutsuki member alive. This includes Momoshiki’s presence within Boruto. He transported Naruto and Hinata to another dimension while influencing the entire Hidden Leaf Village to oppose Boruto.
Boruto’s friends were determined to finish him off since he is now an accused murderer of the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Only Sumire and Sarada are not affected by Eiida’s omnipotence ninjutsu.

Sarada convinced Sasuke to save Boruto from the hands of the shinobis by activating her Mangekyo Sharingan. Sasuke only believed her because of the Mangekyo Sharingan, rescued Boruto as he promised his daughter, and took him to a place where the sensory ninja units won’t find them out.
Eiida apologized to Boruto for pulling this omnipotence ninjutsu on the people as she explained that she wanted to help Kawaki. Despite all of these gloomy events happening to Boruto, and while Momoshiki was constantly attempting to take over Boruto’s body, Boruto didn’t give up hope and promised Kawaki that everything would be fine.
Boruto Chapter 81: What To Expect?
From Boruto Chapter 81 onwards, fans may see twists and struggles in Boruto’s life. New characters may be introduced from Boruto Chapter 81, along with new story arcs. Under Sasuke’s excellent guidance and training, we may see Boruto skilling up on new jutsus and techniques.
We may also anticipate Boruto trying to take on Momoshiki. Will he befriend him just like his father did with Kurama? In that case, will a new villain be introduced from Boruto Chapter 81? Only time will tell.
