What will happen to Naruto in Boruto Chapter 80?
In the leaked Boruto Chapter 80 spoilers of the chapter, we can see a panel of Naruto and Hinata still locked in the Daikokuten dimension. Kawaki is saying he will not release the Seventh Hokage until he fights Boruto and Code. Both Naruto and Hinata are seen floating around sleeping in the Daikokuten dimension.

Boruto is still running away from the village and is in hiding. While Eida’s abilities do not affect Sumire and Sarada, there is still very little that they can do to help Boruto. Sarada seems to have awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan, while Boruto inherited the will of fire by rejecting Momoshiki.

Despite all that progression, Boruto has a long way to go before he can save his parents. He needs to reverse Eida’s memory manipulation and fight Code and Kawaki. This is not going to happen anytime soon. Even in the time skip, we can see Boruto and Kawaki fighting in a ruined Konoha while Kawaki states that he will send Boruto where he sent the Seventh Hokage. This might mean that Naruto and Hinata are trapped in the Daikokuten dimension all this time.
How long before the fans can see Naruto again?
Naruto and Hinata have no role to play in the progress of Boruto anymore. Their not being present will further Boruto’s character progression. This will give him the motivation to get stronger. It will also mean that fans will not be able to see their beloved Naruto anytime soon, which is a huge disappointment. This can be good news for Boruto as he can grow out of his father’s shadow and be a person of his own, and be known for his strength.
Another thing that got fans excited was that Sasuke would mostly have a huge role to play in the future. Although it is uncertain whether he is affected by Eida’s manipulation or not. It will be very interesting to see how things will move forward after Boruto Chapter 80.
