Sources have confirmed to the Variety that the Oscar-nominated filmmaker Ava DuVernayis associating with Netflix to work on Prince Documentary covering the artist’s entire life. The whole work will be supported by the Late Artists Estate helping through interviews, sharing archival footage and providing archive access.
DuVernayhas tweeted Prince as a genius and joyful personality. She says that she is honored to make this film and very grateful for the opportunity. DuVernay has been working on this project for several months and tweeted that she is going to make this film with love.

In 2008, as a career achievement she had made a great debut titled ‘This is the life’ and also known high for her work on ‘Selma’ and ‘Queen Sugar’. DuVernay’s 13th Documentary was nominated for Oscar Award and Netflix Limited Series “The Central Park Five”will be launched in 2019.
