If you ever owned an iPhone 4, this is important for you. Apple iPhone 4s brought the feature of virtual assistant Siri and iPhone 5 was the best design ever. The owners of these three models recently received a notification if they are interested to join a class action suit against the company.

The suit is all about the broken wake/sleep buttons which didn’t make it easy to use these units. The suit claims that these three models were sold by the company with defective buttons. But Apple did not disclose it to the customers.

The trial for the suit will begin on 25 October, later this year. All the purchasers of iPhone 4 from 24 June 2010 to 10 October 2011 can join the suit.

However, Apple refuses to accept that any such thing happened. Nothing unlawful or illegal was done on its part.

The trial for the suit will begin on 25 October, later this year. All the purchasers of iPhone 4 from 24 June 2010 to 10 October 2011 can join the suit. You must be a citizen of California if you want to join the suit.

The citizens of California who purchased iPhone 4s from 11 October 2011 to 20 September 2012 can also join in. Apple iPhone 5 users who bought the phone before 1 April 2013 can also be a part of the suit.

The cost of repairing the broken button or iPhone’s diminished value due to the default in the sleep/wake button are being claimed in the suit. It also seeks injunctive, restitution and declaratory relief.

The case goes by the name Shamrell, et al. v. Apple Inc.

If you want to be a part of it, you wouldn’t have to do anything and simply be a part of the show.
