The Stabyhoun

The Stabyhoun is the all-rounder that everyone should have. Yes, of course, they look super cute. Stabyhouns comes from the Netherlands and are perfect for hunting, protecting, and guarding. Not to mention, these cuties can also catch rats and moles.

The Pumi

Pumi is a medium-sized dog and comes from Hungary. If there is one thing that you should know about this cutest dog breed, it is that you should never leave a Pumi alone in the house. It’s just that your neighbors might not find this curly hair doggo that cute because they can react to almost anything. Pumi are simply cleverest and all they want to do is wandering and love their owner.

Did you know that there is a common belief that Sapsali might scare ghosts away? Now, we don’t know if this is true or not but it is for sure that this dog breed just loves children. So if you are looking for a rare pup to adopt, pick Sapsali because they will love you like no other dog breed can.

The Catalburun

The Catalburun is the rarest of all and comes from Turkey. Since this dog breed is extremely rare, they have been inbred a lot of times and this makes them even rare. And now Catalburun is the only breed in the world that has suspended ears and a split nose. While some people find this unique feature of Catalburun disgusting, others simply love it.

The Sloughi

The Sloughi is not just rare but is a very ancient dog breed and comes from Africa. This dog breed is medium in size and is known for its amazing hunting skills and speed.

The Kai

Besides the Akita dog breed, if there is another breed from Japan that has become quite popular, it is the Kai. If you are attracted to the tigrine fur of Kai and want to get one, remember that this dog breed chooses only one master. If you have a Kai, you don’t have to be scared of an antelope or bear because Kai can easily hunt them down as they work in a pack.

The Kuvasz

There’s another great and rare dog breed from Hungary and i.e. Kuvasz. This dog breed has a life expectancy of nearly 12 years but the sad thing is that after World War II, there are only a few Kuvasz left. The loyal and extremely calm nature of Kuvasz is what makes them better than other rare dog breeds.

The Greenland Dog

Do you love Husky? If yes, there is great news- we have found a large Husky-type dog breed for you. Yep, you have read it right. We are talking about Greenland Dog. This dog breed was brought to North America from Siberia and is known for its sense of direction and smell. Also, Greenland Dogs are said to have a connection with the Arctic Wolves.

The Portuguese Water Dog

The Portuguese Water Dog is an extremely loyal dog breed and has a life expectancy of nearly 14 years. You will be amazed to know that before the 20th century, Portuguese Water Dogs used to deliver messages from one ship to another. Cool, right?

The Norwegian Lundehund

Did you know of a dog breed that can tip the head backward to touch its backbone? No? Don’t worry because we have found one. We are talking about The Norwegian Lundehund. 

This dog breed has 6 toes on each foot. Due to this amazing feather, Norwegian Lundehund can use their paws just the way a cat can do. And this is what makes them even rare and special. 

The Carolina Dog


Though the origin of Carolina Dogs is not confirmed, it is for sure that they are curious and friendly. Carolina is a pack dog and does not have anger issues. So you can love them without getting scared.
