Michael Carcone is the latest entry to The Toronto Maple Leafs. In return, Vancouver Canucks received Toronto forward Josh Levio.
This move was already confirmed when The Maple Leafs signed William Nylander for a six-year contract. This made the 25-year-old Leivo the odd man out.
Josh Leivo will make around $925,000 this season. By the end of 2018-19 season, he will be a free agent.
On the other hand, Carcone has an experience of 20 games this season with AHL Utica Comets in which he recorded six goals and 17 points. Overall in the last three seasons, he has appeared in 149 games and scored 26 goals and 62 points.
