Avengers 4 is the last opportunity for Chris Evans’s fans to see him in the costume of Captain America in May next year. It is not clear yet that who will take his place after this part.
The fan theories suggest that either Bucky Barners/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) or Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) will take Evans place to hold his iconic shield after his last day as Steve Rogers.
But there may be some surprises in store for the fans as well. The fan theories may prove to be wrong and some new actor may take Evans’s place. John Cena, actor and WWE wrestler, recently posted an image on Instagram of Captain America’s shield that looked as if it was damaged in a battle.
There are huge chances that John Cena may be seen onscreen filling Evans’s shoes in the blue and scarlet colors. John Cena is definitely onto something and we are not sure how Thanos (Josh Brolin) will be able to defeat someone that he can’t see. He is definitely up for some major challenge now.
Evans posted on Twitter earlier this year sharing his feelings with the fan about playing the character of Captain America for the last time.
He tweeted,
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.
Evans was also seen at the ACE Comic Con, Chicago and he clarified that his tweets involved no spoilers about the movie. He said that his post has nothing to do with how Avengers 4 ends, but just reflected upon how emotional it was for him to see the culmination of the unbelievable tapestry.
